    After trying to get a photo for a long time, I finally got one of my baby to share. This is Minnie, my mini-dachshund.

    Dachsies are SO freakin cute when they're little! I remember mine when I brought her home was tipping the scales at 2 and 1/4 pounds. I still have a copy of her as a puppy with a golf ball in her mouth.

    My grandparents had Doxies for years and years, the full size red females.......most gentle dogs out there!!

    They all got fat and developed diabetes though because they got fed table scraps all day long......biggest beggers out there!! LOL!!

    One was named Heidi and the other was Cricket because as a baby she would jump around like a cricket.......
