I previously posted on this board having a problematic Armscor 1911 Hi-cap. To summarise briefly - In 2003, I bought a cheap Armscor HiCap 45 acp for $250 and it shot really bad. At that time, Phil-made 1911s were unheard of in the USA. It shot really low and grouped really badly. It also developed a trigger problem. I spent more than US$800 to get it fixed but I did it willingly because it was my only Philippine-made gun and it was a matter of pride. Today, I got a call on my cell from Nevada from Martin Tuason, president of Armscor USA. I live in California. He said that to make up for all the troubles I had in the past, I can have any gun he sells for FREE. He learned about my problems in the 1911 forum and he took responsibility for it, though he was not yet president at that time. This level of customer attention is unheard of in any industry. May Armscor live long and prosper ! I'm starting an Armscor collection !
