Saw a NIB SS Colt Mustang like mine on gunsamerica for $1750. Can I get or expect that for mine. The reason I'm asking is I want a Colt Wiley Clap or a S&W Performance Center. Wiley Clap is $1300 and the S&W is $1400. I had the little Mustang since new and have the boxes and paper work. Would asking the amount for one of the above mentioned guns be fair?

Mustangs vary in price quite a bit depending on condition, year, and configuration.

There are people willing to pay high prices for them but its more of a collector piece now. The Sig P238 is basically the same thing only with improved magazines, recoil springs and stock sights which will be cheaper than buying a Colt Mustang for carry.

Collectors will pay premium prices as long as the condition is excellent and its a known desirable piece.
