I've been on vacation for the holidays, and as usual, I stay up until 6AM every day, then sleep during the day. Monday I have to go back to work, so I don't want to be exhausted due to lack of sleep Sunday night. I just took a couple sleeping pills and hope that will be enough to knock me out tonight so that I get back on a regular sleep schedule. Any suggestions?

I worked out today as well to try to make myself tired. But as you can see it is 12:16 AM and I am still up. I feel like it is 11:00 in the morning!!:crying:

I have been doing that for a long while. It is tough to get on what people call a "normal schedule".

I've been in this situation before. You're doing all the right things.

Sometimes comfort foods help, those that are heavy on the carbs or fat. A glass of milk - it doesn't have to be warm, can be the tool to push you over the edge into dreamland.

Another trick I've used is to cool down the house, or at least the room where I am trying to sleep. A cold room and warm blankets make for a really good night's sleep for me. Uhlawkitty, however, has nixed that idea for many years now...
