Lawrence, MA. is a pit.. but i would not clean it this way!

listening to the fire dept down there.. sounds like they sure have their hands full.

whatever this is.. it aint over yet. they are still getting new reports of people smelling gas and calling 911.

Heads up to anybody north of boston, be safe.

Wow. Are the homes owned by the Clinton Foundation or what???

Wonder if the repairs caused a pressure spike that blew past regulators or cracked ancient lines...

How is this going to be Trump and GOP's fault?

Old pipes giving out at last?? Gonna be some 'splaining to do when this is over. Hope nobody gets hurt...loosing everything in a fire is bad enough.

The gas company told everyone to shut off their gas.
I wonder how many people know how to do that...and of those who do, also know how to relight their pilot lights when they turn the gas back on?

I am betting a city gate pressure regulator failed.

    i wouldnt say old pipes..

many places that are miles apart are experience leaks.. at the same time. that's cant be just an old pipe that failed.

im not an expert.. but i'd think that the pressure coming through the municipal line is WAY too high and is coming out where it should not be coming out. (in peoples homes)

also.. if the immediate solution is to have citizens shut off their gas.. wouldn't it just make the pressure higher at the homes of those who did not shut off? DOH!

Been to Boston a few times. Friendly people. Unless the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, or Sox are playing. :couch:

Same old Dem ‘GOP Blame Gameplan’ playbook, page 297, section 2 -

They wasted so much money fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and not building up infrastructure here.

My delivery route is the Lawrence/North Andover area. Lawrence itself is a third world s*** hole. Best thing that could happen to that place is for it to be leveled. Andover and North Andover are nice though.

Work tomorrow is going to suck.
