2nd Option: "In danger: These people could be trigger-happy yahoos or stumblebums whose weapon might go off by accident."

*facepalm* So not only does this option contain ad hominems, it reveals that people voting this option don't know much about guns or gun laws.
    1) In most states, concealed permit holders are less likely to be criminals. They've undergone a background check and submitted their prints and photo to the police.
    2) Holstered guns don't "go off by accident."

Some of the responses people who chose "In danger" are silly and hyperbolic. Golly.

lol this was one person's justification for their vote against guns

"Although I don't believe all gun owners are "stumblebums", the very existence of guns means criminals will acquire them. They need to go."

wow that's a much more reasonable approach. destroy all the weapons on the entire planet and cross your fingers that no criminal ever makes anymore of them. that's much more practical than proactively arming yourself.

people like this are lucky that breathing is controlled involuntarily otherwise they would sufficate

The question they asked: how safe do you feel knowing there are people around LEGALLY carrying concealed guns?

The question they should have asked: How safe do you feel knowing there are criminals around ILLEGALLY carrying concealed guns?

these idiots seem completely content with criminals carrying guns around, but are bothered by law-abiding citizens taking up arms to protect themselves and their families from these scumbags. i hope they don't look to me for help when the SHTF. i will calmly ask them; " are you for or against the legal concealed carry of firearms?"

Oddly enough, I agree with this sentiment. It's right up there with world peace, living forever, and never a hungry mouth anywhere in the world to feed ever again...

Until those things happen, me and my Glock will be happy together (and happier if the friggin' General Assembly and Governor will let me carry it out of the house...)

I don't think they're getting the responses they wanted or thought they would on this "poll". And considering it's on MSNBC, that's saying something.

Bet someone has a rash this morning.

    BTW, comments like this:
Are what leads to questions being phrased like:
There are people who don't like guns. They're not "sheeple" or "cowards" and this sort of attitude is what pushes fence-sitters to fall on the side of "gun owners are nuts!"
