Okay who here actually uses MSG as a seasoning and add it to your dishes or meat?
I do my best to avoid the stuff---it is a huge migraine trigger!!!
the stuff is great...but then again im chinese...my body is use to it...
When one of my llamas developed some kind of fungus infection on his front feet, our vet told us to make a solution of MSG and water, put it in a spray bottle, and squirt his feet a couple of times a day. Other than that, we never use the stuff.
I avoid it if I can. Most people think Chinese food but once I started reading the labels on some of the stuff I was buying at the market I realized it's in a LOT of common American snack foods especially potato chips.
You have a pet llama?
Not any more. And not really a "pet". We raised bunch of different animals on our hobby farm in Ohio. We got into llamas as fun and investment and lost our shirt! Buy high, sell low will do it every time. LOL. I lost so much on this particular male llama (breeder) that I refused to take the loss and sent him to the butchers and had him made into ground llama. Pretty tasty. I guess the MSG on the feet did him some good afterall.
I'm sorry for you lose but this made me....;z
