OK, here's one. In this area Arby's does not put Arby's sauce on their sandwiches. I drive 50 miles away and order a Beef n Cheddar and it's got that sauce on it. Yuck.

They work well unless there is a constant flow of traffic coming from one direction. So like an event lets out from the local venue and you happen to be coming from a different direction and get stuck there for 10 minutes. Happened to me more than once.

Pretty sure where I live at least, the Beef n Cheddar does come with some sauce, but the basic roast beef sandwiches do not. Also not sure but it seems to me the sauce on a beef n cheddar is a little thinner in consistency and flavor, not exactly the same as the actual ‘Arby’s Sauce’ in the packets.

I remember when the Arby’s and Horsey sauce were in squeeze bottles on the table. They were probably using actual roast beef back then too.

Yep. As is often the case with change, I hated them when I first started seeing them. But as I learned how to use them properly I really grew to appreciate them. If everyone used them correctly it would really improve traffic movement. But alas, many like to stop even when there are no cars approaching and that negates their effectiveness.

Put it back where you found it, when you're done.
If it's not yours, don't take it.
Put the lid back on, TIGHT. (ladies, this one's for you)
Wipe down the sink and counter if you make a mess.
Don't rearrange or 'organize' anything I own.

I'm like a broken record, saying these things over and over and over again.

I'm not sure what it is, but they don't put it on Beef & Cheddars here. It's not really bad, but I don't like it with the cheese. I always assumed it was Arby's Sauce.

Edit: Internet says it's red ranch.

...and the light goes green, and you sit behind them and wait...and wait...and wait...while they've still got their head down, staring at the phone...then you tap the horn and YOU get instantly flipped off...as if they have any Right to do that at all...lucky to get though on the late yellow at that point...they need to pass a law that allows us to shoot out their tires.

I have to wear a mask to get into Walmart, avoid going with another adult from my household, stay six feet away from other shoppers rather than getting 2-3 ft away for the 0.5 s it takes to pass each other, and comply with one-way traffic in the aisles.

Then at the last step, I have to touch the screen to say I'm going to pay with a debit or credit card, insert my card in the same hole that received countless other cards out of other customers' germy hands that day, touch the screen to indicate I don't want cash back, and touch the keypad to dial in my zip code or PIN. Every shopper funnels to these stations, so it seems like they would be the LAST thing anybody should be touching.

A few years ago, I didn't have to do most of these steps. I remember swiping my debit card and that being about all that was required. If we are concerned about germs, we should go back to that.

There are other examples of such blatant and weird inconsistencies.
    • Can't have church, but we can have protests. Both are covered by the First Amendment. Our county clerk office is closed so we can't do basic business, but they can have protests.
    • We'd (probably rightly) go to war to protect economic interests in the Middle East, but we accept a 30-some percent drop in our GDP due to a virus that kills almost nobody.
    • From everything I hear, the masks almost all people are wearing are only barely effective, if that. If masks are important, then require N95 masks. Surely we can get them by now.
It feels like we're living in They Live.

So weird that it's standard everywhere else, but they don't put it on around here.

I'm really getting annoyed by the fools who sit in a parking space with the engine running, reverse lights ON but are NOT MOVING but yakking on their cell phone.

If you have it in reverse, GTFO and let someone else park in that spot!

People that don't use turn signals while driving, and people who don't believe the people that do use turn signals and don't take advantage of the traffic situation. Nothing worse than being behind someone who won't right on red (legal here in NC) nor will pull out when the oncoming car is obviously slowing down to turn and has their turn signal on.

Good god man, do you remember what it looked like back in the day?

    I don't know about that. Paging @G30SF/F-250

I think the vast majority have transitioned to paper wrappers. It was for the children.

Have you thought about talking to some about this? :D

Ohhhhhh, I like that one. I'm going to steal the line you quoted.

People are scared of free thinkers.

Ok, this one does get to me sometimes. People will park their carts right in the middle of the aisle and then browse for something on one side of the cart, blocking the whole aisle. I don't mind if they're responsive when I politely say excuse me, but some act like they're offended by that. Then it's bothersome.

Do we lose likes under those conditions? That's some bull **** if true.

I like traffic circles, but isn't that true of every intersection though?

Yes, but stopping is necessary many times though.

He's found Jesus, he likes Trump and he's taking some votes from Gropey Joe, he's a good with me, for now anyway.

However, I do dislike the influence the Kardashians have had on young girls.

Your right and you're point is very valid. That pisses me off to.

    :D

Yep. Why is it sooooo hard to understand that the contraction for the words "you are" is "you're" and NOT "your" ??????????

Didn't everyone learn this in the second grade?????????

Note: "Didn't" is the contraction for the two words "did not".
    Not: Did'nt!!!

The entire purpose of the apostrophe in a contradiction* is to stand in place for the missing or omitted letter(s). It is really that simple!

Edited to add: Auto correct (not a spelling error). This should be the word "contraction".

People who complain about other people who either a) block the "isle" at the store with their cart or b) in the new age of COVID-19 go the wrong way down the "isle".

    For the love of God . . . it is an A I S L E not an I S L E !!!!!!!!

"An aisle is a passageway between rows and seats in a building, such as a church, theater, or auditorium however, an isle is an island, usually a small one. ... An aisle is something that you find on an airplane or a store. An isle, on the other hand, is an island."
