I was forwarded these pics today of a supposed Mountain Lion in the area... I'm assuming they are not from around here since I don't see a whole lot of aspens in the area, but the rest of the vegetation and snow amounts look viable...

Wherever it is, it's a pretty big freakin' cat!

Don't think that thing would live long running around in my yard. Not a good situation, especially for kids.

Hey Vart, I have seen aspens up around the Hawley Lake area. Those cats are all over AZ, Noe of the owners of my company shot a 150 pounder down near Florence, and I have heard people coming back from hunts up on northern AZ talking about seeing cougar sign. They are pretty adaptabe and able to live almost anywhere.

I'm guessing it's not a good weekend to try out your giant mouse costume?

You're around Prescott, right? They're up there alright. Dated a girl from there for a while and she mentioned seeing them somewhat regularly.

    That's a beautiful animal.

I don't know about it hanging around a house like that though. I'd bet they are feeding it. Not smart.

You can tell when there's a Mountain Lion around here, the Coyotes thin out.

Last one I heard of was about a year ago when one was seen about three miles north.
