My air guard unit is deployable to MHAFB for our two week AT this year. Has anyone been there or stationed there? Would like to get some input on what is there to do...

    thank you in advance.

Nice time of year to be up that way. I was TDY there years ago, during the winter. Not that much fun, but summers are nice.

Just left mountain home after 9 years there. i just arrived here at kadena last friday. i hated to leave mountain home. lots of motorcycle riding and plenty of shooting spots. also plenty of shooting matches around the boise area to keep you busy during the month. i really liked it. send me a note if you have any questions.

thanks for the response. our two weeks out here have been awesome. the only thing that could have been better would have been for the wife and kid to join me. We (the guys I am here with) went rafting down the Payette Sunday. That was awesome. Be going back home Saturday.
