Beside the time spent practicing with my pals and ragging each other at the match for errant hole, the thing etched in my mind is the gross gun-handling error I made in Statesville. Long story. But I like the fact that I learned enough to not have it happen again. Nor will my shooting buddies.

Also, in Richmond this year, we shot a Highpower rifle match in the morning, then switched guns and shot GSSF. Fun but a long day.

I only made Waldorf, Richmond and Statesville but had a blast.

Oh, I also enjoyed seeing HerrGlocks boys shooting some fine matches.

What was your favorite part of this years shoots?

    Happy New year friends!

Shooting a 65.59 at Conyers, making Master, being with my GSSF buddies. Being with my friends makes way too many memories to write down. :) Well there was that 1000 mile day coming home from Shreveport. ;Q

My prayers being answered, FireGlock making Master so we don't have to wait for him to shoot 4 times at each station. See Jerry, I didn't say four guns this time.;+ ;+ ;+ ;+ Happy New Year Everyone.

Most memorable moment? That's easy. Watching Fireglock leave a plate standing in Glock the plates in JAX. :)

Other memorable moments from that match are:

    1) running into the instructor I took my CWP course from and saying hi.
    2) talking to a cop about my Optima and recommending his dept. steer clear of them. Seems they were seriously looking at getting Optima's for their sub guns. Not too long after that, Tasco went bankrupt.

My most memorable moments are all the performances of Team Sidearmor in 2002. Back in April, I was not even sure we would field a team at Richmond, but my "old timers" and my new recruits came through like Champs in 2002. Thirty Plaques in thirty attempts, with two matches left. Individual and Team performances were outstanding. Thanks, ladies and gentlemen, for the memories!
