    I know this is a slightly stupid question, but I was wondering if Glock has a model that is know to be more accurate than others. I know most would say that it's all about the person behind the Gun. I would imagine that the smaller the caliber, the less recoil would translate to accuracy. For me, out of all the Glocks I shoot my 23 the best I'm interested in hearing everyone's feedback.

    Right now my Gen4 22 is the most accurate in my collection. Everyone's market will vary. :)

    Glock 20SF was the most accurate Glock I had. My G22 with a LWD 9mm barrel is quite accurate too.

    For your reference, the following is what Massad Ayoob wrote in his book, "The Gun Digest Book of Combat Handgunnery" (6th Edition, 2007, Page 24), on the topic of Glock accuracy:
    " Accuracy is adequate at worst and excellent at best. The only Glocks that seemed to be really inaccurate were the first runs of the Glock 22, and the company squared that away quickly. I have a Glock 22 that, out of the box, will stay in 2.5 inches at 25 yards with good ammunition; this specimen was produced in 2001. The baby Glocks are famous for their accuracy. This is because the barrels and slides are proportionally thicker and more rigid on these short guns, and also because the double captive recoil spring that softens kick so effectively also guarantees that the bullet is out of the barrel before the mechanism begins to unlock. Modifying a Smith & Wesson auto to have that same accuracy-enhancing feature costs big bucks when done by the factory’s Performance Center; it comes on the smallest Glocks at no charge.

    The .45 caliber Glocks also seem to be particularly accurate. First, the .45 ACP has always been a more inherently accurate cartridge than the 9mm Luger and particularly the .40 S&W. Second, the .45 barrels are made on different machinery than the other calibers at Glock, and seem to be particularly accurate. The “baby .45,” the Glock 30, combines both of these worlds and may be the most accurate pistol Glock makes. My Glock 30, factory stock with NY-1 trigger and Trijicon sights, has given me five-shot, 1-inch groups at 25 yards with Federal Hydra-Shok and Remington Match ammunition. "

    I wonder if my 1997 Gen 2 model 22 was part of the Not accurate bunch. Thought it was just me because I don't shoot it much.

    So this is why so many Glock guys here shoot the G26 so well? Very interesting.

    The most accurate Glock is the one in Abbate's hands.

    Serious answer would be the one with the least free movement in the slide, barrel and other parts. That give it consistancy with your shots. The rest is up to you and the round used

    I "hear" the Glock 30 is up there on the top of the accuracy list.

    I have had a 17,19,22, 23, and have a 27 and a 30.

    The G30 wins hands down for me.

    26 and the 30 happen to be the two I shoot the tightest groups with. That being said, I haven't shot a Glock yet that wasn't more accurate than I am.

    I own or have owned a Glock 17, 19, 34, 27, 23 Gen3 and 4, 22 Gen 3 and 4, 30, and a Glock 21 Gen4. The most accuate of all these handguns is my Glock 21 Gen4.

    I only have one Glock (G27) but can fire in three calibers;
    9mm, 357 Sig and 40 S&W.
    My gun, in my hands, firing premium LE HP ammo;
    I find 357 Sig the most accurate,
    followed by 9mm,
    with 40 S&W in last place.

    My next gun may well be a G30/45.

    I had a G21 gen 3 and it was more accurate that my G26 or G19, and I always wondered why.

    My G22 with my G31 barrel in it is the most accurate for me. Which is one of the reasons why I love the .357 Sig round.

    Generally, the models with the longest sight radius should be the most accurate, such as the 17L and 24. The gun itself shouldn't be any more accurate from a ransom rest, but the longer sight radius will help the shoot aim more consistently.
