I have found that the mossy shot guns and savage rifle's receiver monted safety to be very left hand friendly. The pump release on the mossy also feels like it was designed for us south paws.

What other firearm makers have you found to be very left hand friendly?

The WW2 P-38 by Mauser and post-war Walther. Shells eject to the left and magazine catch holds the mag by the base.

The Walther P-5 which operates on the same principle and the ejection port is on the left of the slide.

Glocks: because they do not have safety catches and the grip control is neutral to either hand.

Yup. Got a mossberg 590 and a savage 10. I'm looking for a tactical stock for the savage. Not a big fan of the choate varmint and sniper stocks. I'm looking if anyone knows where one can be found.

I put a trigger and a stock on my model 10 from sharp shooter supply. I looked at their web site and they don't seem to offer the one i got any more.

Remington makes/made model 1100's and 870's for southpaws at one time. I picked up an 870. Not as many barrel choices, so I had it cut to 21" and screw in chokes installed. Works for everything that flys, and also works well for SD. It's pretty easy to install and remove the mag extention.

Remington, also, makes the 700 for southpaws. Again, not as many choices as for righies, but at one time, they were pretty much the only game in town for mass produced rifles. Mines in 30-06. Pretty much will do for anything on this continent.

Weatherby makes some fine southpaw guns. Priced accordingly.
