So I saw the write up about using a Speedfeed pistol grip stock with a Mossberg 930. My question is how do you handle the safety being on top and in perfect place for a non pistol grip stock with the pistol grip?

I have one on my 870 and love it so if I add the 930 I want the same thing.

Very carefully. With a PG stock, most people seem to stick with a cruiser ready state for their shotgun, instead of a loaded chamber. In an emergency, you won't have to fiddle with the now awkward safety position, just run the pump and acquire the target.

Is there a cruiser ready for a semi?
I can't be as specific as I'd like, since I don't OWN a semi auto, however you can have a full mag/empty chamber and simply rack the bolt back when a round is needed. A friend of mine, for a short time, used a semi-auto with the bolt locked back and a shell on the loading riser, meaning he only had to hit the bolt release to load the first round into the chamber. It was a Benelli, I believe.
