Was wondering what a company armorer would be in todays MOS? IE= 42 Bravo, 93 Yankee. My late father was a tank turret mechanic/company armorer....Back then his MOS was 424.10 and was just wondering what he would be today. Thanks.....Trapfan

Good question, The armorer I saw in my last unit was an infantry guy 11B and my current unit has a supply guy as the armorer. So I really don't think they have an offical mos for it but to make sure you could check the army website or call a recruiter.

In the Army, 92Y (Armorer). Supply type with added training. That's at the company level.

For what used to be DS & GS maintenance (which is undergoing a change currently) it's 45B (Small Arms Repair) which also includes mortars and towed artillery.

    or

45K (Armament Repair) again, this was a level above Company, usually dealing with tank turret systems.

They have a course small arms repairman they send you too, mainly a additional duty to the unit armoer as the supply man.
