Quit wasting your time. The 3.2 million hits on a video that was uploaded two days ago is fake. Take the offensive instead of doing some youtube crap that won't make a bit of difference.

I mean fake in the sense that a group of people volunteers and/or is hired to constantly click the video to quickly up the numbers. There's considerable money to be made on youtube, so you don't leave it to chance. "Viral" videos don't randomly occur, especially ones with a lot of entertainers. They're heavily marketed in slick ways.

People also get the impression that 3.2 million different people have viewed the video. Considering that most people viewing that video would live in the U.S, that's about 1 out of every 100 people. I ain't buying it.

did you watch the video? I wasn't being hostile to your question, I was answering your question .. actually Andrew Klavan answers your question. Youtube doesn't want your opinion on this one.

Ha ha, what? No, I'm just saying some people are creating some controlled and sophisticated marketing. If you can't post comments, vote, or whatever, then it's because someone set it up that way. Youtube isn't the crude vehicle characteristic of its early years.

A good comparison is the presidential conventions. It was not too long ago that the conventions were these partially spontaneous events where the handlers didn't know all the outcomes.

Now look at the conventions. Everything is carefully controlled. Speeches are proofed dozens of times. The audiences are hand picked. No more drunken fools hamming it up on camera. Everything is choreographed, right down to the ratio of red, white, and blue balloons dropped at the end. A slick Youtube video is no different.
