Anyone carry more than 1 gun? Are 2 Glocks better than 1?

I've tried it a few times before. Just felt like an idiot.

Sent from my Federation issued communicator.

I don't even have one now since a rather unfortunate fatal malfunction a while back.

Or, as others has noted, New York Reload (a rather old term destined for a renewed life thanks to recent legislation).

And yes, I've done it at times.

Well, my next Glock will likely be a G36, which will be the back-up gun to my G17.

Dang I had decent post. Bumped esc and its gone....

I don't carry more then one. (unless training/range....) Carrying one is a PITA. Two daily? No thanks.
Last time I did was for new part timer. Right out of academy. (set up with Chief) Just to get him thinking that folks might carry a backup (or 4) You only stop looking when you run out of body to search. (even then go back to areas near where you found one)

Sorry to hear it. What kind of Glock malfunction was it that caused a fatality?

Yep, while out on the street chasing adam henrys I carry a G26 on my hip and a G17 on my chest. If I'm working plain clothes or off duty in a creepy area I carry this:

Oh, and there's an LCP in a pocket too!

Off duty I usually just carry the G26.

When I pack two guns it's usually a Glock sub-compact and either a J .38 or my Kel-Tec P32. I never pack two Glocks at once for two fully loaded Glocks can get kind of heavy.

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking he meant "fatal for the Glock".

I find that the g17 on one side and the g19 on the other balance each other out rather nicely and the extra weight is nit noticed.

It's rare but if i do it's usually my g26/19/23/32 and a snubbie aiwb. Kind of a pain carrying spare mags and speedloaders/strips and a knife though. I always scoffed at "EDC Nerds" until the active shooter at a mall i used to frequent shocked me straight.

if on a real long trip in my truck, then G19 in cross draw and G26 in ankle holster or shoulder holster or in pocket holster in baggie jeans (mica holster, custom made)

    You are correct.

I pulled the trigger and the single pistol became many parts.

I have owned Glocks for years and trust them with my life. I only carry one. Carrying 2 would be overkill for me.
