I have just purchased 2 more Glocks a 22 and a 35. Im hoping to get a line on a 27 and a 23 soon which would complete the 40S&W collection to add to my 9mm collection. Its just too bad i have to change out the barrels because of canadian laws for the compacts and sub compacts. Ill post pics once the new ones arrive so ppl can see the rediculous canadian rules at work.

You still have to get the 24 to have all the .40 guns.

Canada has a minimum barrel requirement of 106mm. So on anything that would be less than that they need aftermarket barrels before anyone no MIL/LEO can own them. only exception is if you have the probhibited class on your license but then only ones that you have before the new rules can you keep no new ones can come into canada.

The 17L is a limited production pistol. Glock seems to release a few every couple of years or so. The 34 is the "tactical" pistol with a longer slide than the 17, but not as long as the 17L. All three (17, 34, 17L) use the same frame, magazines, etc.

So, the 17L was not "replaced" by the 34. 17Ls are just limited production.

    Nope, see post above.

The reference to the GLock 7 was from a movie. "Die Hard" with Bruce Willis, IIRC.
