Thanks to all who replied to my question on competitive times.I took advice and printed off scores from the Conyers GA match 2002.This however brings up new questions.A Mr Worsham and a Mr Rutledge won Am civilian and LE respectively. They each received a gun.Worsham then proceeds to win subcompact and Rutledge finishes 2nd.Worsham and Rutledge both get$25 and the gun for 1st goes to the 3rd pl finisher and the $100 for 2nd goes to the 4th pl finisher.Sooooo....is there a rule that one can only win 1 gun per match or is there only a certain number you can win before being limited? I also noted that Rutledge and Worsham in their respective catagories each won guns in the North Carolina shoot just previous to the GA shoot. So combining the NC and GA shoots had they reached some level where they now could only win 1 gun per match and be refunded their entry vs winning $$$ for a 2nd thru 10th pl finish? If a guy shows up at his first GSSF and wins Am civilian, subcompact, competition and Unlimited( a guy can dream)does he get 4 guns or 1 gun and 3x$25 or some other combo of cash and prizes??? The GSSF bulletin is confusing at best.It mentions sharing the wealth in the Master level(one gun per ) but is apparently silent on the ameteur level.Sorry if this is an elementary question but looking at the results of the NC and GA shoots this question came up.As before thanks in advance for any info!!!!!!!! If I remember correctly these 2 matches just happen to co-inside with these 2 individuals being promoted from AmCiv to Masters Class. Hence the "Share the Wealth" system.

As an amateur you are alowed three "A-1" pistol wins before being promoted to Master Category. Worsham and Rutledge maxed out at Conyers. "B" through "F" pistols do not count.

    Because we are gooder.;f

If you've never won an A-1 pistol, you may win three at one match.

If you've already won 1, you may win 2 at a match.

If you've won 2, you can only win 1 more at a match.

The wins being in the Amater categories. After 3, it's on to Stockmeister and Unlimited/Masters.

    ..Isn't it cool?

Stockmeister and UL are even funerer!

but,..I would recommend not worrying too much about being competitive. Just shoot. Say hi to the sidearmor guys/gals, make fun of the one w/the beard and no hair (..is that more than one? :), and have a good match.
    ..the scores come later.
