Anyone ever been? One of my vendors gave me some tickets and I don't know what to expect really.

Cheesy? Fun? Dangerous? Redneckish? No idea...

Bring gun earmuffs, more comfy than earplugs. It's the loudest thing you have ever heard, absolutely redneckin. I took my five year old last year, he loved it, but man oh man it was loud, even with hearing protection.

As one of my friends would say, "It is a slice of Americana".
I have been to several with my sons. The look on their faces when they saw their first monster truck was priceless.
It is good entertainment. I have not had any problems there at all. It is geared around family with lots to do and see for everyone.
    Go and have fun.
Oh yeah, like others have advised, take ear muffs. It is really loud.

It seems redneckish at first but It's pretty entertaining. Between the Trucks, demo derby, and people watching... It's worth experiencing. I went about a month ago for the first time since I was a kid.

I usually take the kid, this year we skipped cuz the Mrs is pregnant. Here in KS it does suck though. There is no room to do anything (indoor) Its like running a funnycar between 2 brick walls 100 ft apart. They punch the trottle then jump on the brake right away. Outdoor would be much better. But still pretty cool when they punch it you feel it in your chest.

My son and I go every year. Definitely redneck, but overall pretty entertaining.

I don't think I have seen so many people in sweat pants at once in my entire life.

They sell you the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge.

Good old redneck fun. If you have a choice go on the last day, they always smash their truck up more on the last day. I went to one a few years ago and they were trying to backflip their trucks onto a pile of minivans, it was awesome.

Went with the girlfriend last year, had a few beers, nachos and a hot dog and had a blast.
