If everyone could observe a moment of silence please. This morning at the salt mine I was zoning in Hardware and a light bulb fell to the floor and lost it's life. It was a single pack so there is no family to suffer the loss of a loved one, and the death was quick, it didn't suffer at all. Please keep that light bulb in your thoughts:angel:

If it was one of those new-fangled democrat bulbs, you shoulda called out the haz-mat team to deal with the deadly mercury hazard.

    Moment of silent but deadly.:faint:

okie, how many other innocent light bulbs must die before we have sensible, common sense floor control?

When a lightbulb dies, does it see a bright light? :headscratch:

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light (it's a bit darker now!!) and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Light Bulb Zone where okie will be haunted by..........

He was a bright young lad with the prospect of an electrifiying future. He hadn't been screwed up by exposure to the ugly reality of the world. When a young one he used to look up at his daddy and say "Watt up?" Sadly he still suffered a pack-o-troubles. It began early in his life when he came in contact with his base side. His love life had been on and off, no steady glow of romance. After a long and bumpy trip he was shelved and waited to be sold. Unable to deal with the vacuum inside him any longer he leapt to his doom. Better to go out with a pop he figured.

Little Bulb is survived by his grandparents Fire and Lantern, his father Thomas and his mother Incandescent, his cousin Fluorescent and his little brother LED.
