I’ve had these mags sinc

e 1988/89 they were purchased separately. The cracked one on the right has a non-marked base. Left one has marked base. Crack is the same as the mold line on the left-hand mag any one else seen this happen? It had not been left loaded either that mag has been empty for a long time. And yes it still works.

This is a common issue with the early non drop free mags.

Very common, I have a few of those. Glock will send you the latest gen mag if you return them.

Going to keep this one my son‘s buddies got a kick out of it shooting out of the old gen1 that’s older than them.

Glock has stated that their mag is the most difficult part to make.

Glock will exchange those for new ones. Or you can JB Weld them back to life. I have.

I have an old G17 mag with a small piece missing off the front bottom of the mag at the baseplate. Doesn't affect function......

I found one NDF G-2 Gen 19 standard mag like that once, I mailed it back to Glock asking for a Gen 5 G-17 standard mag, and that's what I got back from them.
