Thanks for answering, but no joy. Still will not run youtube.
Do you, by any chance, have the Noscript add on for Firefox??
If so, then I got yer back!!
I think so. Is this the problem?
At the bottom of your screen in the right hand corner you will find an "S".
To fix, go to the YouTube site.
A popup dialog will reveal itself at the bottom.
Click on the "options" button and click on "allow YouTube".
What No Script does is prevent all Java Scripts UNLESS you specifically allow them.
YouTube uses the Adobe Flash Player, which in turn, uses Java Script!!!
Unless Java Script is enabled (blocked by default by Noscript) the site will tell you to install Flashplayer!!
NoScript is a pain in the ***, but it's a kick in the tush that makes you look at what you are potentially getting into if you go to a potentially dangerous site!! Java Script is the main vehicle that hackers use invade your system!!
You may want to read up on it HERE.
Thank you. That's exactly what it was. It works like normal. You made me look like a hero to my wife. If we ever meet, first round is on me. thanks again.
You are very welcome.
