Can someone recommend a good drop in trigger for the 40?
What is it about the trigger that you are trying to change?
The length and weight of the pull.
pull weight can be changed with a "-" connector, either from glock or aftermarket. That's what I did to my glock 20, but only after I did a NY-1 spring, so it's a little heavier than stock, but I like the feel of the pull better. I use mine as a carry gun, so I kept it with all glock parts.
ZEV or APEX seem to get the best reviews, but you might also look at the lone wolf adjustable trigger for the large frame guns.
The ZEV trigger package will run you in the $250 range, where the lone wolf is about $75.
I have an Overwatch flat trigger in my G40, and I can't remember if its there NP3 connector, or a standard Glock - or dot connector. They're neat, but I'm still on the fence if I'll keep the trigger in the 40, since its a big target gun. The shorter travel seems to eat up some of the feel on the wall, that I appreciate. On my smaller 23, I don't mind as much, I want that one faster.
My 40 had a great trigger. It came with a minus connector from the factory.
I recommend ZEV, That's what I run and I can control the weight and pull.
