The fact is George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, by a Minneapolis policeman. He was not killed by a federal agent in a community of white supremacists.
Minneapolis has been dominated by Democrat mayors for more than 40 years. If systemic racism exists in the Minneapolis police force it has been enabled by Democrat leaders for more than 40 years. Make no mistake, Gov. Walz, Mayor Frey, Attorney General Ellison, Police Chief Arradondo, Rep. Omar, Sens. Klobuchar and Smith – you own this situation. You have all run on platforms promising you would rid our community of this type of heinous behavior.
Liberal politicians’ show their cynicism when, while in control for decades, they express their outrage that racism is a systemic problem in the police department of our largest city. Each of these leaders has expressed support for the protesters, as if they are sympatico with their cause. Where is the self-awareness? These people are not supporting your leadership, they are protesting against your failure to deal with systemic racism while you are empowered to make real change.

Tim Waltz is our governor; not George Wallace

Jacob Frey is the mayor; not Lester Maddox
Keith Ellison is attorney general; not Jeff Sessions
Amy Klobuchar is our U.S. senator; not Strom Thurmond
Medaria Arradondo is police chief; not Bull Connor
Enough of the empty accolades for the protesters. Don’t pretend you are in agreement with their cause. Your actions, while in power to make real change, demonstrate otherwise. The correct response on your part is not to insult the community with feigned emotion, your responsibility was to prevent this from happening. You have all failed miserably.

Looks like Jack Joseph might be a good choice to replace one of those elected/appointed officials he mentioned. His letter would make a good start to a run for office.

Perfect, yeah, I was amazed how broke up the mayor was - the Chief of Police reports to the mayor. Where was he before? I suspect this is not the first problem MSPD has had.

Protestors ginned up in West Palm Beach today in order to march to Trump's place at Mar-a Lago.

For what? He's signed sentencing reform and various pardons for minorities that NO President of any party would have had the balls to do in the last century.

So they marched to the bridge that crosses the intracoastal waterway to Palm Beach Island. The cops just raised the drawbridge, have a nice day :flag:

76 years ago, thousands of 18-20 year old kids crossed 50 miles of stormy seas and jumped out of airplanes at low altitude to fight a vicious murderous foe, and these chubby 2020 vegan and confused gender clowns couldn't find a way to get across 1/4 mile of 80F, 9' deep water with 6" waves.

    pathetic.

Had some friends over tonight and we basically had this exact same discussion. It's funny how they want to look to the future for change and not admit the problems of current and past.

The important thing to remember is the "Orange Baboon" is bad. When we had a democrat president, senate and house they did jack crap about gun control even though it is the proclaimed holy grail. Why? They didn't want to pay the political price. As soon as Trump was elected Antifa sprang forth fully formed. Oh wait. It was a spontaneous movement. Yeah, right.

Cops are racist. As long as you accept the fact criminals are a race. If you don't break the law cops don't care about you. Cops tend to see the world as cops = good guys / allies. Criminals = bad guys and normal folks = the background of victims or neutral. Cops don't give a big rat's backside what color you skin is. Cops only care if you're a bad guy.

JJ may have written more eloquently than most, but what he said is not news. We all knew that liberal politicians, in control of all major cities, are the problem.

Here's something else we all know: When the looting and rioting calms down all those liberal politicians will say their policies worked. They'll say they did not need the military to solve the problem. The morons don't realize that when everything has been stolen there's no more 'free stuff' to be had. So the looters go home.

Well stated. Liberalism and Democrat politicians are mostly to blame for what is going on in our inner cities. Hopefully people are starting to open their eyes to this fact.

The truth has no place in public opinion.

I don’t think there is a name for it in the English language but this is the sort of thing when your fat friend tells you how he only eats salad and yet he gains weight despite the laws of physics making matter creation impossible. We are now supposed to hear the flimsy lies and act like we don’t know they are lying and the liar knows we know better but we all engage in this delicate construct because it’s too much work to discuss facts with a selfish, emotional, idiot.

add it to the growing list of Democratic failures and excuses and blaming anyone but themselves. Waiting for them to get obviously cornered enough to grab the 'I admit that was not right. I'm sorry. Let's move on.' which will be touted as a praiseworthy gesture.

The Lib/Progressive/ commies that hold office take credit, but they NEVER take responsibility.
