Well, I found this one at a Gander Mountain of all places at a decent price. This one is in great shape with just a couple of very light marks on the barrel and I could not pass it up. I favor the MKll model and they are getting harder to find used.

The serial number indicates it was made in late-1987 but you would never guess it is that old looking at it. Gave $300.00 for it and I am happy!

Tell us how your first re-assembly goes! I love my Mark II, and after fifteen years, finally have mastered putting it back together.

Ha, I know about the re-assembly! I have a Mark l 5 1/2" bull barrel target made in 1970 too and have had it for 20+ years. It can be frustrating but not too bad if you hold your mouth just right!

Also have and NIB unfired Mark ll stainless Government Target model I bought in 2004 just as the Mark lll's were coming out. Nothing but Mark ll's or earlier for me!
