MK 318 mod 0 availability

    This will be easy to answer. Is MK 318 mod 0 available for hand loading? If so, please post a link below. Thank you.

    I loaded and shot 1k a few years ago. They were clean pulldowns acquired from a small local supplier. Grouped a little over 1" from a 20" AR with WC844. I haven't seen any since. Wish I kept some on hand.

    Sorry, also don't know of a source.

    I believe it was a one time contract and when it was done that was it. I bought heavy when Midway had the surplus from the contract. Still shooting them.

    Next to impossible to find. I recently bought some pull down bullets that look identical to the MK318 bullet right down to the nickel plating and green sealant on the top groove. I cut a couple in half and the nose ahead of the copper base has a copper slug where the lead is on the actual MK318 bullet. I figured these bullets must be a "green" version of the MK318 which I did not know existed. Military surplus ammo like the MK318 has to be pulled down to components in order to sell to us lowly civilians.
