Career politicians vote for other career politicians. That's how they keep their interests protected. Sometimes it may be to protect their party's interests ... and other times (like now?) it may be just to protect the whole political system as it's been organized to profit both major parties.

I used to think of republicans like McCain and Romney as slightly right-leaning democrats. Republicans when the cameras were on them, and supportive of democrats and their agendas when behind closed doors. The very essence of politics. :p

I love these people (politicians, high ranking military officials, etc.) who stand for something, and vote for the complete, 100% opposite.

Yes, I'm for lower taxes, conservative judges, the second amendment and strengthening our military but I'm going to vote for the guy who against ALL of that.

    What a complete dip****.

He's worse than a RINO him and the Bush family together. They are the biggest backstabber ever to walk this earth. It's a slap in the face to all of us who supported and voted for them. It makes me want to puke just thinking I voted for the turncoats.

That's fine, I never voted for Willard. And I would have to second guess anything he supports.

I am not exactly proud for voting for that POS in 2012. But, I still suppose he was very slightly preferable to Obama. I can't stand the sight of him anymore.

Not a surprise at all. Embarrassing that he can even get elected.
