I bailed out of Glock to give the M&P another go, and I'm finding myself missing the soft blockiness of the Glock.

I'm having to learn how to shoot the M&P, since it isn't as natural for me as the Glock. I've shot Glocks for so long that the muscle memory is pretty deep. The M&P is accurate, just not natural to me yet, and it's going to take a bunch more rounds before I'm 100% confident with it.

I snagged a trade-in 2nd Gen G23 from Keisler's for $355 shipped w/ NS and 3 mags. I always liked the 2nd Gen mid-sized Glocks better, as the finger grooves are a bit closer together on those and smash my fingers together. I have access to a lot of 40SW ammo, so it'll actually be cheaper for me to shoot than a 9mm for a while. I plan on getting a LWD 9mm conversion bbl and some G19 mags for it, just 'cause.

I'm not regretting switching my wonder-9 from the G17 to the M&P9, since it's an all-around better and more modern piece. It's definitely moving outside of my comfort zone a bit; which is a good thing.

It's "an all-around better and more modern piece", but you're missing your Glock......interesting.

You should probably tell us how it's "an all-around better and more modern piece". Maybe you can talk yourself out of that idea. :)

I miss my wheel gun too, but I'm not getting rid of my Glock.

So many people confuse "newer" with "better"...

    1911?
    870?
    M2?

I dunno, call me old fashioned.
