This is the doc that told healthy people they had cancer, gave then chemo, ten times the # of treatments considered safe, putting their health at risk, to bilk insurance out of millions of dollars.

He was sentenced to 45 years, is appealing his sentence.

I agree wholeheartedly, they should schedule a hearing, say around 2060, and at that time the court should rule that he never should have been in jail in the first place. After spending 45 years behind bars.

    Justice served.

So, you think he's innocent? 45 yrs is to long?

He did what was best for him and not his patients on purpose and with wonton disregard for the well being of his patients. Nope, let him rot. Who know how many Pt. he killed or cut short their lives.

Should have been charged with premeditated murder.

He should know that his actions are adversely affecting, and shortening, the life of his patients.

Pretty sure Randy doesn't believe any of that. As is his style, the comments are dripping with sarcasm.

His sentence was poetic for what the doctor did, make his patients suffer needlessly for years only to find out they weren't sick. In his version, the doc suffers in prison for 45 years only to hear "hah, just kidding" after its all over, when the suffering can't be undone..

Pretty close. He told healthy people they had cancer, treated them with far too many doses of chemo way beyond the accepted safe levels, now the patients find out they were fine, except for the damage done by excessive chemo.

So I thought it would be fitting to have his ass rotting in jail for the full 45 years of his sentence waiting for his appeal hearing in 2060 only to find out he shouldn't have had to be in jail in the first place. Maybe throw out the conviction on a technicality at that point. Too bad about the colon damage or AIDS, hep C from his cellmates in the interim... The side effects of his time in prison.

Just like his patients that endured chemo when it wasn't necessary and now have to live with the side effects.

    Poetic justice.

45 years in jail, then an "oops, you shouldn't be here on this technicality" and then he should drop dead just as he steps out the door. Some people just don't deserve to live among us.
