Mastery is a "senior member" who began this deal by promoting his good trader status here and elsewhere.

I saw no reason not to take his word for it, so I went ahead and traded $200 worth of AK mags that I didn't need for a Drum that I wanted for display.

I began to get the hint that something is up with this guy when I checked my email and PMs the following Monday.

This guy was very upset that I couldn't make USPS go faster.

I suppose that he was afraid that the drum would get to me before the magazines and I would discover that THE DRUM HE SENT WAS BROKEN, and certainly not in excellent condition as described.

This drum had a warn out spring and had been soaked in a parts cleaner full of dirty mineral spirits for same time.

It is obvious to me that he knew the magazine did not work when he sent it.
The loading mechanism was jammed (rusted together) when I received it, making it impossible to load more than one round at a time.

He was instructed several times to return the magazines, and of course; did not.

I will never deal with this dishonest individual ever again, and wouldn't expect anyone else to either.

His actions prove that Mastery is little more than a petty thief and should be treated as such.

He took something of value and replaced it with scrap metal.

Looks like he hasn't posted in the WTS thread you started since late August. Is he on any other boards? Did you email him a link to this thread here? Did you get delivery confirmation on your package? Any chance of salvaging the drum he sent you or is it garbage?

I'd also be curious just to hear what he says regarding the condition of the drum he sent you.
