I haven’t read anything beyond the pawn shop opener was arrested, but in general: A case with a shot body and a guy standing over him with a smoking gun is easier to investigate and solve than one where a person may or may not have committed a crime, at all. In regard to the incident that sparked Minneapolis, it appears several known LE on here were correct. I know one of my responses, which was just an educated guess, was damn near exactly what the reported autopsy results came back as. The appropriate charges would be very different if the suspect had died of solely strangulation. Further, the state of mind of those responsible is vital.
