Mini-14 mags

    I am looking for a 10 round Mag for my Mini 14. Anybody know where I might buy one?

    Thanks for the links. It would appear that Ruger doesnt actually produce the 10 round mag themselves. I will need to go with a non-Ruger product.

    I don't know if Ruger themselves makes a 10 round magazine, my ranch rifle came with a 5 round magazine and bought several 30 rounders, both clear plastic and steel versions, for the Mini-14 later on (before the fed AWB kicked in thank goodness :cool:).

    Impact Guns apparently has some Ruger factory magazines, none appear to be 10 round though, only 5 (which Impact doesn't list in .223), 20 and 30 rounds.

    Do yourself a favor,.......use ONLY Ruger mags!

    John Masen 10rd mags work just fine. They use a factory style (from the 5rd mags) follower in them so they hold the bolt back after last round.

    I find that they are every bit as good as factory mags.

    Although they do hold 10rds, you can only fit 9 in them and have them seat properly with the bolt closed. Otherwise, they are just like the 5rd mags from Ruger.
