Within 13 weeks and ahead of the gun I ordered it for.

Grips, magazines and this holster are here. Gun is at the smith and should be ready by next weekend.

I am very pleased with this one. Not my first Milt Sparks, but my first Criterion.

I can already say that there are more in the future.....providing it rides as well as I anticipate.

I really like the magnets much better than the snaps and wish they were available on the VM2.

    Cordovan and sharksin.

Those pics don't really do justice to the rich color of this one....tried the flash on a couple more. I really like the look of it and am looking forward to getting some saddle time with it.

I can't stress how easy it was to order this holster. Just a quick phone call and they took care of me.

The Criterion is my new favorite Milt Sparks product. I did not believe they could improve upon the VM II but they succeeded in surpassing it.

It is a great looking holsters at least. I'm really eager to get my Colt Defender back so I can feel how it carries.

How is the ride height compared to the VM2?

    ...did you say magnets? :headscratch:

A Colt is truly worthy of such a beautiful holster. I was going to get one for my New Agent, but instead got a Garret Industries Silent Thunder holster. I may end up buying another holster for it thanks to your thread

Beauty. I received mine a couple weeks ago, but my G19 has been getting repaired by Glock for about three weeks so I haven't been able to use it.

Thanks. I think it'll become my favorite leather holster really quickly.

    Rides lower than the VM2.

The belt loops close together and are secured by magnets. Very strong magnets, I might add.

I think this is an excellent feature and prefer it to the snaps.

I love the Criterion coupled with a mini-Colt. I also have a Nexus for the same gun platform but for some reasons I just like the way the Criterion holds the gun against my body.

This is one of the non-production Criterions made for a Commander. I was one of the people Milt Sparks asked to test drive the holster and give them feedback

In Commander size type M1911 (4-4.25") barrel, I actually prefer the Heritage Limited.

If S were to HTF, zombie apocalypse, Red Dawn were to happen, I wouldn't be packing any M1911. However, for CCW self defense, it's hard to beat a slim pistol especially for IWB. A lightweight, small AND slim 1911? Can't be beat.

What's wromg with a "1911" for total SHTF? Short of a rifle, I'll grab this one.

    :tongueout:

Cuz for SHTF, I'd rather have a nice .357 Magnum revolver.

I've run 125g at 1490 FPS out of this one, and 29+1 is a lotta :50cal:

Of course, Milt Sparks doesn't make a holster for that, so back to your regularly scheduled program.

Called yesterday checking on this holster for a P series Sig. Not available yet but I understood it is for some Glocks.

    YES! A nice, serious-looking rig.
