I had the same debate about 6 months ago... Didn't know a whole lot about 1911's.. so I went with the AR15 first (since I already had 2 other handguns, G23 & PPK), then spent the next 4-5 months reading this forum, and shopping used prices locally. I love them both! But I have to try to not think about how much money I spent on both of them. :faint:
