I bought 10 carbines in the late 80s for $149 each from Davidson's. I bought a few original WW2 mags still in the wax paper at gun shows for $5 each. Still have some unwrapped. Those were the days, we thought would never end. Wrong again, Robin.

Makes one wonder what will happen with all those milsurps that were once cheap and easy to get. Mosin's, SKS. Every time I read an article that says go ahead and modify your-fill in the blank-cause they are cheap I think about the days when M1's and 1903's were cheap and readily available.
