Microwave

    I have an expensive microwave that quit, anyone have experence repairing, or having repaired. Would you chunk it, and head for wally world? It is 12 years old. Thanks in advance. PS It still runs just does not heat,so I figure it's not fuse.

    Well I have taken a few apart. Only fixed one. (the door safety was jammed so replaced from a junk one)
    Basicly buy a new one. Unless you have some idea of what is what and multitester and get lucky...
    They are too cheap nowdays. And I would cut cord off before dumping it. That way no idiot can mess with it and come after you. Keep in mind there is stuff in there that can hurt you LONG after you unplug it.

    Whether it's a VCR, DVD or microwave they aren't worth fixing. I just buy the cheapest model I can get with the features I want. If it quits outside of the warranty it aint worth fixing.
