Love the Socom Elite! Good choice. This was my EDC for well over 10 years. Born on 8/2000 and still razor sharp and snaps open like a champ. The mini Socoms are nice too if you feel like carrying a lighter, smaller knife. B545575E-906C-4DE6-90CB-8D22E993DC32.jpeg

I've got an ultratech. I am still carrying that most at work (LE) due to limited muscle memory / skill needed to deploy under stress. still getting used to the tip down carry of the socom, it's mostly my off-work knife. besides, the bigger knife is more likely to be needed outside of work for crap around the house and yard.

I'm really not a fan of the new LUDT design. I've been on the hunt for a "dimpled" LUDT for years now. I do have 5 or 6. Just not the one I want... 135-1gt_f_1.jpg
