If you are religous (muslim, christian, jew, hindu, etc) and you eat something not ok'ed by your religion, or not prepared in ways ok'ed by your religion, and you eat that something for ...2 weeks, or 2 months or 20 years, and nothing happens to you, does it mean your religion's stance on that matter in 2013 might be a little bit..uh, irrelevant?

In some, if not most, religions the eating of un(kosher|halal|whatever) would not manifest until after death with the judgment prescribed by the religion.

Perhaps if enough people came back from after being sorted and suggested which way is correct or more correct then we could have definitive answers.

Until such a time it's all about faith.

Another issue is the food involved has zero to do with religion or beliefs. The selling was advertised as such and so. It was, in fact, not what was advertised, so they get hit with a false advertising claim, regardless of the reasoning behind the advertisement.

This, in spades. Has nothing to do with what someone's religion believes. They CLAIMED they were in compliance and weren't. Period.

But religion is stupid, so we should just tell em all to stuff it and move one, right?

I guess the Religion of Piece is learning our Western ways. Instead of cutting heads off, they go for the wallet.

It may just mean that St. Peter is waiting until you arrive to begin the Listing of Grievances...

No. You're thinking of the Airing of Grievances.
