MAYOR PETE: Millions inspired by what Kobe ‘did on the field and what he meant off the field’
    January 26, 2020

Pete Buttigieg (Pronounced Booty-judge) was given an opportunity to weigh in on the death of Kobe Bryant, and appeared to not know what sport the legendary athlete played.

While appearing on Fox News Sunday night, the Democrat candidate was asked “to make sense of” Bryant’s death in a helicopter crash today.

“It’s shocking and I think we’re all still in shock about what happened. And I think it’s a reminder that our lives are often touched by people we’ve never even meet,” Buttigieg said.

“And there are millions of people, not just in Los Angeles, but around the world, mourning because they were inspired by what he did on the field, what he meant off the field.

Basketball, of course, is played on a court, not a field.

Buttigieg said America is “united in mourning and sending our love and our thoughts and of course our prayers to the families” of the victims.

Bryant, his daughter and three others died in California.

If they can play field hockey, why can't they also play field basketball?

In his defense, I don't think the G's really follow that sport, now the L's and WNBA, I think that's a different story...

Kobe was the best ball in the hole with net guy I've ever seen - Mayor Petey

Once his numbers in the black community came out the media sank him all at the same time. Until that point he was their guy and #1 in Iowa. Too funny.

Well, that's all fine and good for the L's and the G's, but what about the B's and the T's and the Q's?

I think the T's are into whatever this sport is.

I'm mystified as to why anyone thought that the mayor of a small and, by all accounts, poorly-run "city" had the chops to run a nation of over 330 million people... o_O

I mean -- he would seem to be DEMONSTRABLY incompetent... hmmmm.gif

I heard this last night and just laughed at how disconnected this guy(?) is. Pete is not going to be the Democratic nominee.

Everyone needs a simple reminder: He won the mayor’s race with less than 11,000 votes. He ran for state treasurer a year earlier and lost in a landslide, getting just 37% of the vote.

We live just a few miles from South Bend. The Mayor is not only not liked, he was a total waste of a person as Mayor. Not even close to being qualified to being President.

Mayor Pete is the "this isn't the question we should be asking" guy. He could be captain of debate club, but not really the "guy" most people would want representing this country.

But he's gay, so that makes him the belle of the leftist ball where facts don't matter.

Now that Kobe is gone I couldn't name a single player now playing in the NBA. I could not care less about basketball.
