Who is playing it? How are you liking it?
I have been a fan of the Mass Effect Universe for a while. first game blew me away. Mass Effect 2 is doing the same thing, its just damn good.

I don't see what's so special about Mass Effect, but I have never played it. It just doesn't look like something I would like.

It has a very good story. and it is told very well.

It was a great game. Sadly the story left you craving more and no Mass Effet 3 in sight. I wish I could play through a second time, but I got three red lights after I finished my first playthrough. looks like Im going to be playing alot more MAG.

I've been interested in this game for a little bit now. Would I be ok to start playing ME 2 or should I start with the first?

If you play and beat the 1st game, it will give you bonuses on the 2nd game.

Yeah that's what I've heard. I just don't know if now would be a good time to start with Bioshock 2 coming out so soon.

Bioshock was/is still an awesome game though. I'm sure #2 won't let me down.

ME2 was pretty good. Hopefully DLC will add more armor/weapons. ME1's story was way better IMO, but I liked the actual gameplay of ME2 more.

ME2 has me even more addicted than the first one. As Curriek has said, the story isn't as good, but the gameplay is amazing. I am a RPG fan and didn't care a whole lot for Bioware taking away some of the freedom of selecting your individual equipment (armor, weapons, accessories) and specialization tree was dumbed down a bit.

I am already +12 hours in and am having a blast...if you like a challenge start out playing the game on Hardcore or Insanity. It will make the game last a lot longer for you.

I haven't played 2 yet, but the hype around it was enough for me to dust off Mass Effect 1 and work back through it with a new character. :)

When I first played the original Mass Effect, I hated it. About a week later, I gave it another shot, and was hooked!

I was all over Mass Effect 2 the day it came out. The finale is incredible, and leaves ya wanting more. The entire game is a masterpiece, IMO. Overall, the locations were far better designed than in the first game.

I like how some elements were streamlined, but I think they went a lil' too far. The case of "console-itis" that plagued the first one was thankfully gone. I was also hoping to see much more of the original cast, especially Keith David, though the actors in this one were top notch.

For anyone who hasn't played it, and it thinking about it, you definitely need to play the original first!
