It used to be cheaper than Butter and people on limited income saved money wherever they could.

Then it was touted as being "better" for your health than Butter. Now it just comes in cute containers.

The White House should have served it to Barack on the third day.

Real butter for me.Nothing written in stone that a person needs to be a pig.

Take all things in moderation.

Nothing like real butter on sprouted grain toast or on pancakes with real maple syrup.

I plan on enjoying this same breakfast at Hugo's in Claremore, Oklahoma tomorrow.

Best breakfast in all of Oklahoma.

Margarine stays softer in the fridge.
Growing up in a rather poor household, it was cheaper to cook with, feed to 7 kids.
In my 50's I became very lactose intolerant.

I like butter, it don't like me.

That's good stuff.

I'm as much of a butter snob as the next guy, but one place margarine works well is on grilled cheese sandwiches. It can take the heat without burning like butter.

Don't look at me like that. You're eating a sandwich made out of white bread and processed cheese product, and margarine is what you have a beef with? :animlol:
