Not in this house...
It used to be cheaper than Butter and people on limited income saved money wherever they could.
Then it was touted as being "better" for your health than Butter. Now it just comes in cute containers.
It butter or fine olive oil or nothing!
I grew up on margarine, and my wife introduced me to butter. Now I can't stand the smell or taste of margarine.
For house guests who have stayed a couple days longer than they should?
The White House should have served it to Barack on the third day.
Why indeed, Terlingueno. Without butter, the movie Last Tango In Paris could never have been made.
Throw margarine in the same garbage can right along with syrup "product." Butter and maple on my pancakes!
Real butter for me.Nothing written in stone that a person needs to be a pig.

Nothing like real butter on sprouted grain toast or on pancakes with real maple syrup.

Margarine stays softer in the fridge.
Growing up in a rather poor household, it was cheaper to cook with, feed to 7 kids.
In my 50's I became very lactose intolerant.
I like butter, it don't like me.
Margarine is food grade lubricant with yellow dye added.
That's good stuff.
I'm as much of a butter snob as the next guy, but one place margarine works well is on grilled cheese sandwiches. It can take the heat without burning like butter.
Don't look at me like that. You're eating a sandwich made out of white bread and processed cheese product, and margarine is what you have a beef with?
