Folks, I could really use some help here. A relative of mine has a bunch of dogs with what appears to be "Mange".
Is there a chemical I can mix in quantity to treat these poor animals? There are two adult dogs and several weaned pups. They are beautiful dogs and if I could clear up the skin problem I'm sure to find loving homes for them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ray

I would suggest taking them to the vet to find out what type of "mange" (sp) they had, and if that is in fact what it is. Different strains could require different treatments, and different weights of the animals would probably require different dosages.

I had some antibiotics for the mitiban mange that worked ok, but now i just give my dog vitamin C and some stuff called Borage oil for hair and nails with every meal. Cleared everything up and keeps her free of breakouts. good luck...
