    Okay...... And?

Are you implying something? Do you have a question? Or are you just trolling?

It happens, it's a tradgedy that he did not have a loved one or friend in his life to look out for him.

Positional asphxiation is no joke basically they go into shock, and EDP's are a big percentage of the victims.

Positional asphyxiation is a very real thing. Nothing to play around with.

People dying after resisting arrest and being cuffed, due to positional asphyxia or whatever, is pretty common, but according to the article, this guy seems to have died while being walked out of the theater. I don't even see where the story implies anything, other than by saying it was ruled "homicide" so it must have been brought on by a person other than the guy who died. You'll need more information to troll successfully.

I just came from a meeting about a guy who started having breathing difficulty while being put in restraints and died very quickly, in spite of it happening with medical personnel watching, with a defibrillator on hand and an ambulance 5 minutes away. He wasn't even fully restrained at the time. Autopsy can't find a cause of death. Sometimes people die.

If you're looking to find answers for why he died, there's an EMS subforum. If you have other reasons for posting, I suggest you reconsider in the future. Funny how there's never reports of "patient dies while in back of ambulance", yet it happens all the time.

I'm still learning forum-speak. Is this a good time to use that one? Like when there's a troll throwing things out to fire folks up??

I love how every one assumes I had a hidden agenda in this posting. I saw a new story, it did not fit in PI so I posted it here nothing more. This is why I stick in PI and stopped posting in other areas. Put the claws away I am not attacking any one.

I think it was your wording here:

That got you off on the right foot. Words have meaning. Kind of felt like you were baiting.

    My thought: Who cares?

People die, it happens. The article gives zero details as to the incident, except for Down Syndrome, which means nothing in the overall context. It seems like a headline baiting excuse or a primer for another string of "Bad police" stories; "He had Down Syndrome, so the cops killed him..."

Just as an FYI, try to tone down how you present things here. They way you posted that is dang near identical to the myriad of trolls we get coming through here, and quite frankly, we're sick of it. Most of us are in this little corner of the institution to relax, BS with others in this line of work, and answer legitimate questions from those that truly want to know. Those that come in here for the sole purpose of attacking LEOs get old and tiresome very quickly, and we have just about zero patience for those shenanigans.

Show me where I assumed such a thing , You said everyone.. To discuss you need to have an opinion your not posting one makes you look like a troll.

Do you have an opinion or is this a drive by.
