I had a S&W J-frame go down on the range a while ago.

It was a broken hand spring. The revolver just stopped, and locked up tight. ($4 part...I'll spare you what getting it fixed cost me...suffice to say :wow:)

Are their any immediate action drills for a revolver?

Is their a revolver "tap-rack-bang" drill, or is it simply time to execute "Plan B" (whatever that may be...)

Best immediate action drill for a broken revolver -- or any broken firearm -- is to grab your backup gun and get the job done.
