My boy is a black and tan AKC German Shepherd named "Ruger"...he will be 9 months old October 25th, weighs in at almost 80 lbs. Primarily East German bloodlines. He is the smartest dog I have owned in my entire life and is just a huge baby...he will sit, stay, lay down, play fetch and loves hide and seek...only default is how HUGE his tail is, clears off the coffee table every time he runs through the living room. Trying to find a female mate for him but none suitable have come along yet...

Here is a pic of my 9.5 yr old female GSD
Parents both SchIII and a few other working titles...

You want to get some solid working titles before you breed your dog
to another working titled dog....give some assurance of good progeny

Beautiful GSD's! Yea, I wanna get my dog involved in some working styled stuff but am not exactly sure how to go about getting into that stuff...his mom is SCHIII as well, imported from Germany and his dad is a big teddy bear, he's extremely smart and I know would do well learning just about anything...Thanks for the pics! I'll put some up when I get my digi-cam...

This is our new one, although he is now 5 months old. His dad -Eagle vom Eichenluft is competing at the Schutzhund Nationals. He was also to be at the now cancelled world team competition in France. My wife trains/competes with him and our 3 year-old pictured at left. My ankles are well-bruised!

My 'adopted' ones, Aimee and Matzi. Too smart for their own good, sometimes.

Well, decided against adopting...going to hold out and get another AKC dog, only female...how old is a good age for a male to breed? Female? Just going to wait until Ruger is a year to 1 1/2 before I get another one, I think...
