    I ain't got the skills.....

I want to rotate three 80x60 jpegs in a GIF for a new avatar. Can anyone help a brother out? I just got the Fireworks software, but can seem to figure it out.

Any takers, it'll keep you karma going strong....

I assume that you are talking about an animated GIF? There are a lot of programs out there than can do this, I use GIMP... this is an open source "version" of Photoshop... it is free but somewhat complicated to use for somebody not used to using a graphics suite.

Basically, you have to save each JPG as a different layer, then when you save it as a GIF it will ask you if you want to make it an animation. It will NOT compress the images past the point of the normal GIF compression, so you should probably resize and adjust the images before you add them as a new layer.

That seems to work for editing current GIFs. I need to create one from three jpegs. Thanks anyway.
