Do these grips make my gun butt look big?
Found this for sale on my local armslist
And it's still overpriced and for sale
Imagine the irony if that were a Brazilian Taurus.
World class, ghetto booty, Ba-donka-donk.
Is that a G45?
I know a lot of guys here don't like the big grips on snubbys but I do...I like big butts and I cannot lie!
Honestly, unless you are going to pocket carry a snubby, (my most carried gun is a 642 w/ LG-405's) some junk in the trunk to hang onto makes those things more fun to ride. For belt carry or as a hideout piece, the bigger, softer grips just suit me better. I'm more accurate, faster, and can maintain both at longer distance. Marathon range sessions are a lot nicer as well IMO.
I've shot IDPA BUG shoots locally and would tinker with different J-frames and loads just for poops and giggles, and I always shot my Model 60's with the Hogue Monogrips slightly better. Not major differences that would change what or how I carry but just enough change that I noticed. I even shot a guys stock 340PD (11.8 oz. .357 magnum) with 125 grain .357 loads, WOW!!! That thing rattled my fillings!!!
I would like to see them shoot +P+ loads and watch the gun fly out of the grips and onto the floor
