I just got me a G30 and was considering shooting majorsubcompact. I found this info on www.Gssfonline.com. What are the "other rules"?
One round per target? Anything else?

Competitors may utilize the stock GLOCK “major caliber” subcompact models (G-29, 30 and 36) provided they limit themselves to seven loaded rounds per string of fire and follow the other rules specifically applicable to the MajorSub category.

The other rules are: 1 shot per cardboard target. That's about it. First place awards $75.00. If you use your G30 in Subcompact and win, you get a pistol.

I'm sure I don't have any chance of winning... but I'll have fun trying.

The tricky part, for me, in shooting major subcompact a couple years ago was remembering one shot per target. I screwed up the first string, which screwed up everything. I was shooting nines in Amateur Civilian and the other sub-compact category, and wasn't mentally prepared enough.

Anyway, this year I shot Amateur Civilian with the G30 and it was a great pistol with which to compete!

    Have fun! DZ
