Just the flu.
You are right, the same thing happens with the flu, they just don't bother to track it.
Thanks for pointing it out.
OP spreading more cheer I see.
Flu kills people every year, if you have bad health, it becomes something else in mix. People do did of Flu. Flu season is around cornor, wonder if we will have Flu this winter, or just KUNG-FU FLU aka Covid.
Are you guys saying the flu is worse or the two diseases are equal in some way?
The flu kills between 12,000 and 61,000 annually.
Covid has killed 197,000 in 6 months.
There is no equivalency.
Oh look, another cheerleading post for Covid-19.
Goooooooo CORONA!! Whoo! YAY! Covid is not 19, it's #1! Goooooooo Covid! YEAH!!
This time. Go back to novel flu virus and some have been even more devastating. But my point is a single gathering like this could have resulted in just as many deaths, but we wouldn’t know because we don’t track it. You assume no reporting means it didn’t occur. That is faulty logic. “If a forest falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” Your logic says no. The truth is yes of course it makes a sound.
When do we get to hear how many ChinaVirus deaths occurred due to the riots, which clearly flouted social distancing and mask guidelines and which had a helluva lot more than 65 attendees?
There's no way to concretely know the virus spread from that wedding. The people that died, could all have contracted it form other sources.
Locally a H.S. teacher died this week from the Chinese flu. News stations in their quick to panic everyone reporting failed to mention she contracted it this summer at a family event and hasn’t even been on school property this year.
I'm filing all those recent posts under willing rationalization.
I'll stick with science.
Have a great evening.
I am 64 years old and I do not know of a single person who died from the flu. I do know, however, 5 people who died from COVID-19.
And i know 1 person who died from the flu and no one that has even had covid. Anecdotal.
